Public Private Partnership
- We will build a coast-to-coast infrastructure corridor for pipelines, electricity, rail, a heavy equipment access road and alternate energy and telecom backbones.
- The Corridor is a Public-Private endeavour for the benefit of all Canadians. The Corridor will be controlled by a Public Foundation which will fund road and rail development in Canada.
- The Corridor will be regulated to world class environmental standards; it will be monitored by third party independent auditors to ensure the highest standards.
- Provincial and the Federal Governments will be shareholders. Working with companies, they will establish one stringent and transparent set of environmental and safety standards. All construction or operations in the corridor will be subject to these regulations and a “one time” regulatory review. All operations in the Corridor will then be monitored for ongoing compliance according to the agreed upon regulations.
