Strategic Infrastructure Corridor

  • The shift to an electrical economy is coming. Canada can lead the way with a country wide DC power line to stabilize grids and transport electricity from hydroelectric, nuclear, solar and wind energy sources. This will create new jobs in IT server farms.

  • Gas and Oil pipelines can be installed to supply domestic and export markets. We need to provide energy security to Eastern Canada and an export market for Western Canada.  This will create the jobs and tax revenue needed to expand Canada’s economy.

  • A cross Canada rail link for freight and express passenger services will be built. Trains travelling at up to 220 km per hour will move people in comfort. Via Rail trains will have priority on the rail lines that it needs to operate.

  • The highway will be upgraded to provide heavy access for oversized and loads so new mining equipment can be delivered. When technology permits, it will be the first Continent wide autonomous vehicle highway.

  • A cross Canada fiber backbone with international connections through Prince Rupert and Port Hawkesbury will place Canada on the great circle routes to Asia and Europe; a true digital crossroads for IT communication.
